Sometimes all I want to do is curl up with a book, a cup of tea and dive into my imagination; especially on days like today when the sky just opens up and the raindrops fall to the Earth. Instead I put my glasses on and grab my camera. I like to see the world as both a blurry mess as well as detailed abstract momentos. But for this photographic journey, glasses were a must… and even with the rain running down them, I aimed to capture the water droplets and their perfect placement on plants and flowers in the garden. Some things can be re-enacted, other times it’s just better to experience them as life intended.
